Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

- 3 large ripe banana
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
Add the sugar and egg, then mix until well combined.
Pour in the melted butter and stir thoroughly.
Sift the flour, baking soda, and baking powder into the banana mixture, then mix until just combined—don’t overmix.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Line a muffin tin with paper or silicone liners and fill each cup about 3/4 full.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
